Bicara Agro: A Series Of Knowledge Sharing Programme For Agriculture And Agro-based Sector

Kuala Lumpur :  Agrobank today organised  a knowledge sharing programme called ‘Bicara Agro’ discussing variety of topics and issues related to agriculture and agro-based industries. Among the speakers invited are successful entrepreneurs, academician and technology experts who are involved in agriculture and agro-based sectors.

The programme was initiated by YB Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry (MoA), as part of the initiatives to share knowledge and fresh ideas focusing on agriculture overview in Malaysia.

According to YH Dato’ Wan Mohd Fadzmi Wan Othman, President /Chief Executive Officer of Agrobank, in 2016 Agrobank will conduct a series of €˜Bicara Agro which will be held once in every two months. Three to four speakers from various fields of agriculture and agro-based sectors will be invited in each session to share their experience and knowledge to the public.

This programme is one of Agrobanks initiatives in supporting MoA in organizing more knowledge sharing sessions to share insights pertaining the issues as well as topics related to technology and  agriculture industries.€ he added.

The inaugural ‘Bicara Agro’ programme was honored with the attendance of Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry, YB Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek and Deputy Minister of MoA, YB Tuan Anthony Nogeh Anak Gumbek with more than 180 guests consisted of Agrobanks management team, agriculture and agro-based entrepreneurs from Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Kuala Lumpur as well as students from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

For this Bicara Agro, there were three (3) speakers invited to share their experiences and knowledge. Details as below:
